Phoenix-Wings — LBA grants BVLOS approval for PW.Orca

We are proud to announce that after an initial three month period to test our parachute system, LBA granted us a 2 year BVLOS approval for our cargo delivery solution PW.Orca.

Key points of this approval are:

• SAIL II Enhanced containment
• M2 medium robustness
• Operational volume ARC-b and adjacent volume ARC-d
• A total flight area of over 156 square kilometers for multiple locations in Germany

This is just one of the steps in proving the robustness, reliability and applicability of our system and pushing towards SAIL IV.
